Hello! As someone who values the richness and diversity of the human experience, with specific attention to the relationships we create with others, I strive to make meaningful connections with my clients and students. I achieve this by creating a space where folks can show up as they are, in whatever capacity, within the therapeutic relationship.
Currently, I am a first-year PhD student in Education, with an emphasis on Counselor Education. Prior to starting this academic journey, I worked as a clinical mental health therapist in Miami, Florida. There I specifically used Trauma-Focused CBT to help, support, and navigate children and their families through their experiences with trauma.
Outside of being a student and a therapist, I enjoy being outdoors, volunteering with causes I care deeply about, and watching/playing sports!
